To open a project:
In the start window, select 
Open Project from the File menu.
In the Open Project dialog box, select an AIMMS project file.
Click Open.
Note
The file menu in the start window also contains 5 entries for the five last projects you have opened in AIMMS. By selecting one of these entries, you will open the specified project.
